Thought this was going to explore some niche glitch that sequence breaks, but this is so much more entertaining than I could have imagined. Actually it is sort of possible. Believe me. Just use the Undertale Save file editor on a genocide save and tick the checkbox that says "Defeated Asriel?". Then, set your save location to "The End". If you do it correctly, you will see Sans, Alphys, Papyrus, Undyne, Toriel and Asgore on the patch of grass near the barrier, and you will see Asgore in the throne room like he normally is with his genocide dialogue

It sounds like you're talking about LV20 True Pacifist which is a real possibility using the Punch Card and the Persistence glitch. In such a run, you play the game normally in True Pacifist except you use the aforementioned glitches to skip the initial encounter in Alphys's lab, allowing you to travel back in time by entering the lab again. You end up playing through Hotland three times, but once you get the phone call from Undyne asking you to come get the letter you are now locked into the True Pacifist ending. After that, you enter the lab to reactivate Mettaton EX, and then kill him a bunch of times using the Punch Card to respawn him, eventually reaching LV20. Finally, you finish playing the rest of the True Pacifist ending and voila! You have completed LV20 True Pacifist. The hardest part is setting up the glitches, but the most tedious part is the 5 hours spent killing Mettaton EX over and over again.
