On a similar note, I'm really looking forward for the translation for the first Kurohyou coming later this year. I know there already is one but this new one is by teamk4l who did Kurohyou 2's patch, so it's definitely gonna be much better.

That would be impossible since majima can force you to fight him at certain points whether through ambushes or just entering someplace randomly and while you can avoid these by losing on purpose the street fights can’t be avoided You are pretty much guaranteed to get at least one dragon style upgrade because of majima

wow the dub version of Yakuza 1. Its nice to see someone showcase this one since people tend to ignore it. I thought the voice acting was good for the most part with Mark Hamill being really good. This challenge not only seems tough but would also make the game kind of become dull since your stuck with a very limited and repetitive move set through this whole game.

i had to go thru the same struggle with gary buster because in battle review mode you need to beat him without upgrades, and for an S rank you need to have more than half your healthbar lol, also bosses like hayashi and shindo would've been much easier if you used grabs, even without upgrades

I was never really a fan of the Voice acting on the PS2 version of the game. Story was decent in all. It had a few good VAs but most of them they just felt like they were reading lines. I much prefer the original dubs in the sequels and remakes. Yakukza or Ryu ga Gotoku is one of my fav franchises.
