Science Experiment. I try boiling water in a paper cup using a blow torch. Fun experiment to make hot water in an emergency. If you try this at home with kids do be careful and take necessary precautions.

U should try this with a store boughten plastic individual cereal bowl...the water will not change colors & it will still be safe to use the water after u heat it.

Try making the same experiment without using a plastic lined cup.. you should be able to boil the water with ease. You can also fold plain paper into a bowl and use that. We used to do this as a kid all the time.
