I actually played Shaddolls in highschool when they first released. It's unfortunate what happened with MR4 that essentially killed them off, and I'm pretty hyped to play them in MR5. I'm moving soon, and I plan to do a yugioh from scratch with this deck or a "budget players journey" after I move sometime this summer. Pretty excited for that.

You should definitely consider adding in 1 each of the new cards Ariel and incarnation, they provide a somewhat spicy combo. Wendi can set Ariel from the deck, and after milling incarnation with construct, and getting construct to grave, you can banish incarnation and construct to flip Ariel, to special construct back to the field, before ending with a winda in the EMZ. Only problem would be getting construct to grave for this, which you may face some problems with, though gravity controller from IGAS could do it.

Ariel actually banished from any grave, so it’s not that bad. You can get rid of important stuff from your opponent. Especially if you use it in your opponents turn with the quick play fusion it can be a decent interruption.

I'm so excited for this sd. I am a massive shaddoll fan and cant wait to build the deck again. Also i have some recommendations for your build. run 1 naelshaddoll ariel and 1 of resh shaddoll reincarnation there is very big combo with these 2. heres the combo fusion summon construct using wendi constructs effect sends reincarnation and wendi special summons ariel then what u do next is dependent of what u have on field or hand. for example lets say u used trick clown to go into construct as well u can use another fusion card in hand fuse the construct and trick clown go into another construct send any shaddoll card then activate the reincarnation in grave bannish construct target ariel and flip it face up it effect triggers special summon construct back to field and get another send shaddoll to gy (also when u send a construct to grave u get to add back a shaddoll spell/trap to hand) also ino this is little complicated but if u where running cards that werent this structure deck like other links the combo is 10x better cause u link off construct into cross-sheep and get to special a lot more monsters

Dude! With only shaddoll fusion in your hand you can fuse wendi and trick clown to construct, construct send incarnation to grave, wendi set hedhoge, banish incarnation amd wendi from grave to flip hedhoge and activate his search! Dont underestimate the limitles potential of incarnation it has so many combos

Better combo I've seen that requires a link monster (best one is cross-sheep) fuse wendi and trick clown to construct sending incarnation to grave and summon ariel face down, link construct away with trick clown to cross sheep adding the fusion card you played, banish construct and incarnation to flip ariel, ariel effect summon banished construct giving you access to cross-sheep ability to summon wendi from gy and construct ability to send one more card from deck to gy, link with ariel and wendi for construct

Since some people didn't get the purpose of the link monster, lemme explain Use Shadow Construct (basically a fusion card that you can summon at anytime) to fusion summon into El Shadoll construct, then use her special summon from grave effect. Bam. You now have 2 link arrows, a once per turn fusion summon and El Shadow Construct in the extra monster zone. Now just fill up your hand with more monsters

The concept with little Construct is to use her as fusion fodder with her in-play effect (preferably as the LIGHT component for Mama Construct), then use her in-GY effect to rez her and plunk her into the main zones. Both of these steps involve sending another Shaddoll monster to the GY via a card effect, so you'll be firing off a lot of extra effects in the process. I can't say how well it works in *practice*, but that's the theory.

With Resh, Wendi and Ariel, I have seen Link Construct be successfully summoned and used to get out another Mama Construct, so she seems decent now that Clotheep facilitates shaddoll summoning

Reincarnation can be comboed with Wendi to flip up monster summoned by her effect. While mini Construct's arrows are poor, she can be special summoned with her own effect to provide link arrows after used as fusion material.

Actually, Winda counts summons while face up on the field, so they'd get one more summon after Balynx. Just thought I'd tell you before you got that ruling wrong at locals. This allows you to do some jank combos though. Shaddoll Fusion sending Falco and Malicious, Special Winda, special Falco, make a generic link 2, banish malicious to make a one card link 3 with mali still available as an extender. This means you can theoretically make Shaddoll Fusion into a 1 card ZeroBoros, saying you don't draw into any of your Malis and you're going second. Pretty crazy, huh?

Kurumi Tokisaki This is kinda my situation. I played the game competitively when shaddolls first game out and quit when pendulums showed up. I came back a week ago and I’ve been building this deck to compete with the format. Stuff like called by the grave, handtraps, etc. It’s incredibly fun.

you should consider playing the water shaddoll (ariel) and the new trap spell since there is a combo you can use if you go second with only the shaddoll fusion : with shaddoll fusion you send wendi + a light taget from deck, special summon construct + ariel (the water) (out of wendi so face down), effect from construct to send the new trap to the graveyard, use construct and a monster (ex: trick clown if you used it to special summon construct) to get the link monster, then use the effect of the trap in grave , banishing construct to flip ariel, then use the effect of ariel to bring back construct. in the end you used construct effect 2 times + have the link monster + ariel + construct in the field without using your normal summon and you can still go to the new fusion monster or another construct with the effect of the link monster

I‘m currently thinking about if upgrading my 3x Rokket revolt Deck with a bunch of Shaddoll decks would be worth it, I think i‘m pretty satisfied with it right know, even though it’s probably trash but I like the combos and all the shenanigans with banning every monster and special summoning topo from beyond the grave next round stronger than ever (my record is 5800 attack because my friends deck relies on discarding/banning cards) I guess they’re all dark type in shaddoll although there probably aren’t any dragons in the deck
