My family owned one for more than a decade. She was slow, safe, and wonderful. She pulled her mooring in a hurricane storm surge, and when other sailboats ended up on the rocks, she self-navigated out of the anchorage, and beached herself on her twin keels High and dry above the storm surge high tide line. No damage, but it sure was hard getting her back in the water! Ishmael (& her dinghy, Queequeg) were some of the best boats I ever spent time on! Fair sailing to you!

These are so undervalued! The best boat to get with furled main and jib. And you can dry out. I wanted I could do that. a 41ft ketch is just to much hassle.
