Wow that sun coming up ... stunning scenery and yes, that looked like a very tough rock scramble and I don't blame you for having a fear of hurting yourself again. That fall looked so bad, I'm so glad you were not hurt even worse. Sure leaves you scarred Amazing how many people were camped at big sandy lake compared to your last trip. ❤️👍 I loved your choice of music and as always, love listening to you

Thank you so much Nicole. I want others to know that it’s okay to admit things leave us emotionally scarred. Still, this is such a beautiful place. I’m looking forward to next month!

Beautiful footage. What an amazing trail! I think it's important to show viewers that we fall; thank you for adding that PA fall footage. It shows the reality, and the necessity to be prepared for injury and unexpected situations. I can't even imagine the look on Connie's face when she saw yours after that fall! Such a cute chipmunk! 🐿

Thanks IceBear! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. It is really an amazing place. Still my favorite trail, but every trail is special. Yes, Connie was not too happy with me after my fall. I agree it’s good to show these things happen. Us monks have to support one another. Glad my little chipmunk friend wasn’t camera shy. 🤣

Another nice video. There is something wrong with my LIKE button. Each time I click it google takes me to my local providers' usage page. They have down graded their service to convince us to spend more to get better service. Is Rick older or younger? Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick

@@WanderingMonkHikes I'm glad that he survived. Marines in NAM were just marking time, waiting to fill body bags. With this new window I was able to like the video. The internet and computers seem to be getting more flaky. Good Luck, Rick

Thanks Rick. Yes, we were blessed. Our older brother serves two Army tours. First was w/1st Cav. Second was SF. He was severely wounded both times. Came home physically, but his soul was never the same.

There were times the boulders were causing me to question my sanity. They were certainly “technical” and I would say a bit dangerous. It was a wonderful adventure.

Glad you had a safer passage than in the PA rocks. More beautiful mountains, lakes and fields. I see I'm not the only one who talks to chip monks on the trail. Or should I say, from one Monk to another 😜. Great stealth spot before the rain started.
