By the way, as it seems that you did not know, on Queen of the Hill there is food that spawns behind your entrance/exit of the nest, just dig past it a little bit and there are 2 queens with 150 food in them each, they do not appear on the map, and are an easter egg of sorts from what I could tell.

I would like to add that Formicarium Challenge 3 may not be possible on Medium, Hard, or Insane due to the presence of Royal Guard. That was my main problem in my main playthrough, and I would assume it would also cause major problems for this challenge.

2 questions, how do you activate the free cam (like in rising tide) and 2, why do you have multiple groups for workers instead of grouping all of them in 1?

Idk about the freecam but the way pheromone groups work is when you put down a marker, the ants in that group begin to path towards the point. However not all ants start pathing there immediately, instead only one ant changes its path to the new location at a time. Idk the exact number but lets say 5 ants per second begin pathing to the target location. If we have 20 ants in the group, it'll take 4 seconds for them to all start going there. However if we separate the ants into different control groups, each control group still cause 5 ants per second to begin heading to the new location. So if we instead split our 20 ants into 4 different groups of 5, we can get all 20 ants to start moving just one second, allowing us to coordinate them better. You can clearly see this effect if you play the fire ant levels and put everyone in the same control group. With over a hundred ants in the same control group, it takes soooooooooooooo long for all the ants to start moving.

I think the best worker are the Formica fusca one like they are built for battle (what I mean is that they do most damage of all workers) and they got very good resistance
