I've been waiting for this. Nice one Brett! Now this is a proper motorcycle adventure!! No poncing around on a twenty grand GS worrying about getting your tyres dirty. 40+ degrees, endless roads and a thirty year old Honda with a dodgy starter motor. That takes balls! (Bloody shame about the eggs though)

Yeah I found Broome to be a hellishly expensive place to stay in as I passes through. When I did it everything was booked out and I mean everything. Picking a warm time of year to be doing it. I got up there in August and it was still bloody hot. Throughly enjoying the clips and narration. cheers

If it's hot and you drink lots of water salt flushes out of your body and if your salt level falls too low your body can't absorb the water you are drinking so then you start to feel maybe nausea, maybe headache, can't think straight then feel like passing out dizzy and very suddenly that's it. Eat salt when it's hot and you are drinking a lot of water. I carry salt packets from MacDonald's and make tea with sweetened condensed milk with the salt added. Sounds weird but seems to work on a hot day. (47°c day riding my w650 from Bathurst to the Hunter Valley last summer).
