I’m considering buying a 2018/2019 RS3. I know it might be a little silly to ask, but how is your MPG on the car?

its fantastic! You know its funny this hardly ever comes up but fuel economy is great on this car especially for how fast it is. I probably average around mid 20s for a daily driver.

What dsg tune are you running? I can see how lurchy the shifts are

its Unitronic stage 2 DSG. It is pretty aggressive under harder acceleration.

Great video, quick question: At "long term sustained speeds in Mexico at around 85-100mph" does it feel right at home? Also, I will look into this, but does it appear to have a enough space in the front of the grille to mount 2 Baja Design spot lights behind the plastic bezel? (have them in the WRX currently). Currently my WRX is at home with the proper tires for 2-3 hour durations of that rate of travel (in mexico), but I'm not liking where Subaru is going in the future... and the cult-ure around it is frankly terrifying... thats why I tried to make mine look as NPC as possible, which when you said "OEM or OEM+ looks", you hooked me in to the rest of the video. Was between a factory RS3 with no modifications, or an S3 with enough supporting modifications to make ~400 hp reliably. Thank you and great video.

Thanks for watching! I would say at high speeds its very confident and stable. As mentioned it does have a firm ride similar to an M car from BMW. I actually do like the WRX platforms as well. I have always been interested but never got into one since I prefer auto over manual and they only have CVTs. I just posted a dyno video showing the results with stage 1 93 on the RS3 (435whp/451wtq) More than plenty for a daily IMO On the S3/TTS/Golf R models you likely wont be able to hit 400whp without extensive modifications including turbo upgrade, FBO etc. Hope that helps!

@@savagepandaprojects Same here , my s3 had the rs3 seats with the regular cluster . I’m in the works of getting an rs3 too, just in Canada they are 60-70k cad for low mileaged one

Love how you are jumping around, giving honest opinions, from the best of the best! S6, 340, RS3. And tastefully modded! Would you ever consider getting an ownership series going for a 4.2 on the channel? Lotta possibilities… S5, A8, Q7, R8. I don’t think it would rival the S6 4.0T that thing is another level.

Appreciate your viewership! Yes I have been trying to expand the variety of content with these different platforms. Hmmmmm 4.2 is cool, I can certainly Appreciate those older platforms as well. Not sure if those cars would be something I would take on as a project but they are cool! I'm going to do a follow on B58 vs DAZA as well as S6 vs RS3 😉
