Found out 6 months ago I had sleep apnea. Got on to a sleep apnea machine 4 months ago and have never had such a great sleep in 20 years. Thanks for the video ❤

Thanks for sharing! I seriously love hearing that. Sleep Apnea is 100% treatable and the difference in quality of life can be amazing

I had sleep apnea and didn’t know it. My husband did and my doctor put me on a CPAP which I pulled off every night and threw across the room. In the past year I’ve lost 50 lbs and guess what? No more snoring, sleep apnea or CPAP! Thank God 😀

Yes! Recently a friend’s daughter just died from untreated sleep apnea leaving a young daughter behind.

My sleep study said i had central sleep apnea as well as obstructive. My ENT then scheduled me for a sleep study lab... where they tried to do the study WITH a cpap machine. I could not tolerate ANY of the 6 masks they tried on me for more than 5 minutes, forget about trying to actually sleep with one. I asked if they could just do the test without cpap just to get a baseline reading. They flat out refused! They explained that cpap is the gold standard treatment and thats how they do things. I was shocked. I then became suspicious of their motives. Is it big money to diagnose, and treat how they want to treat you? They never even offered me any other option! I'm now 2.5 years in of untreated sleep apnea. I guess dying of a heart attack WHILE sleeping is probably my preferred way to go...as long as it's not painful. Im 58 yrs old, 135 lbs, 5'5", healthy otherwise. My biggest fear is having a stroke.

This is way more serious than I thought! I've got a question related you chronotypes. how does a teen’s sleep schedule differ from the one you recommend in your videos? I have a late bear chronotype, and I’m wondering if I should aim to go to bed earlier or wake up later to get enough sleep. Great video btw!
