It would be nice to see the finished Wolfe Island dock

It hasn't been a priority to examine it, because it was effectively finished somem months ago. Here's a link to a video showing the dock then. I will make a point of catching up before long - thanks for suggesting it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3iyoIqFjqirbbc

Certainly looks like not much is going on compared to let's say the new Canadian Tire build but I imagine all this prep work is greatly needed for what is to come. Can't wait to see the final product and thanks Mike!

Cheers Scott - yes, I've no doubt that a great deal of work is going on, but much of it involves fitting out inside the buildings perhaps - and there's some pretty involved engineering involved in the walls and finger docks - not to mention eventually connecting infrastructure across the existing ferry lines to the source of power and more...

Can't wait to see the dock when it's finished in 2026.

Oh Rick - I hope it won’t take that long - but time will tell - thanks for watching

Compared to the Canadian Tire project, the progress on the dock is glacial. But to be fair, there seems to be only a half dozen guys working on the dock.

I think the number engaged varies with different phases of work. It's a much bigger and more complex engineering task than it seems - and, of course, the ferry needs to keep running. All in all, a really challenging project
