Hi Nisha, I had the same issue earlier, and I gave all the entrances be it DUET, AUD University, CUCET, etc. But, let me tell you the competition is very high for these colleges. So, if you can get into these colleges within this year so you can prepare for them(but don't waste years preparing for them). But, if you want to take admission in a local college, make sure it is UGC recognised (I did the same). I'm currently in first semester of my MA Psychology program and I really don't think college tag makes that huge difference. All that matters is how much you want to learn and what are your skills as a person and later as a counselor. Hit me up @mentallythesober on Instagram, I'll clear more of your doubts if you have any. I am also an engineer. We can study master in psychology from many states college and central uni. Most of the central uni allows non psychology student for Pg. But need to crack CUCET entrance exam ..I am currently prepairing for it. Also you can join allowable local college too

राधे राधे दीदी में उत्तरप्रेदेश से हु और यहाँ साइकोलॉजी को इतना महत्वपूर्णड रूप से देखा नही जाता है और में चाहता हु। की लोगो को इस बारे में जागरूकता बड़े और में खुद ये समझना सीखना चाहता हु लेककन में कहि बहार जा नही सकता पड़ने । घर बाले इसके लिए नही मान रहे आप समझ सकते हो क्यो आप मेरे को दिसा दे।
