fun fact: you can actually go as the mini at the last section in normal mode to do that, when you become a dual in the part before gboy and click so you dont fall instead you jump out of the block and when you do the normal pattern you can become a mini. but its still impossible to beat with the swag route. edit: it might be possible with the swag route where you stay as the ship in the final part at 95%

You can beat fingerdash in platformer mode. What you have to do is as soon as the level starts, immediately start holding right; the sooner, the better. Don't stop moving right, and make sure not to hit any walls. If you've got it synced, then you'll find it's exactly like the original fingerdash, just a bit more stressful, lol. You can also apply this to any level that has moving objects.

actually no, since in platformer mode you move a tiny bit faster than you normally would. It would be possible if you slowed down sometimes but it would be very hard.

@@Crabtain_Crustacean True, you do have to stop during the fire ball section but that's only because if you make it there without stopping, you'll be ahead by a little bit. But if you make it past there its smooth sailing. But it is still possible at normal speed.
