i learned to drift in a crown vic. drifting in low hp cars or heavy cars gives a very good understanding of how cars handle and makes drifting a high hp car very easy

@@TheGoldenSapling yea, thats low lol. and it weighs like 4500lb. i find 300-400hp in something around 3500lb is perfect for sliding. u can use all the power and not have to worry too much about picking up alot of speed

@@CLS55-Fonz Maybe it depends on where you live. 100-130hp is normal in Europe. In Sweden we drift cars with 100hp easily, also mainly because automatics were not common 20 years ago here and did not weight much at all. My corolla 1.6 with 116hp 5-speed manual does 0-60 the same as a 240hp Crown Vic

Greetings from Sweden! I had an Volvo 740 b230A (carburetor) stock with just a welded diff and shitty tires. That car was amazing to drift especially when it was wet outside. It sure is fascinating this old volvos how good they drift stock. Anyways great video keep it up!

Hey man, i love your videos and have been watching for a long time. Im a mechanic in north van and alot of the times with leaks like that its coming from the camshaft seal or the corners where the valve cover humps over the camshaft. A good way to fix it is to put a dot of rtv on those hard corners in the seal!

Love your content man!! I think you should build a proper driftvolvo epa. with welded rear window and welded lid for the flatbed. Not fully painted if u don’t want to but build with the rear window so you can open because that is sick I think.

Without watching the video, I would go by the video title and answer it with, yes you can drift with an automatic transmission but it would hurt it more than using a manual transmission. Humble example of automatic transmission drifts: The new Toyota Supra can come in automatic transmission Only.. yet you can drift and slide so good with it. 🔥

Well, my friend who frequently trades cars and sells and buys, he had a Volvo 945 sitting for years before he got his license, and this winter, he took it out since for a while it was his only rwd car, and well, it's winter in sweden. Many of our other friends said he can't drift that shit, it's an automatic B230f. But he and I took it for a test rip when the first snow came, and it was lit. Later when he got it registered, we drove around for hours 2 days in a row and had hella fun, it works a charm. Then when the snow melted, we tried drifting on asphalt, it did not really want to
