The password puzzle works as follows_ The left side is the keyword which is 'DOG' and the right side is the answer key which we have to find from the discs. Align D (which is from the keyword) to A and look for the alphabet to which R (first letter from the given answer key) gets aligned, you will get O as the first letter code. Similarly now align O from the keyword to A and look for the next letter code to which the next letter from answer key-D is aligned, you will get P. Repeat the process using DOGDOGDO step by step as key and generate the full code.

Cannot understand how to use the "dog" key to have the resultant "open door"

This confused me a lot, but I think I get it. It's still pretty dumb. You are somehow supposed to realize that since when the G of DOG aligns with the A of USA, you get back G (in XGG). This is a clue that each letter in the middle set corresponds to a number of letters to count over on the outer ring. A = 0 (so you get back the same letter), B = 1, etc. So, for each letter in the top row, align the A of the inner ring with it, then look for the corresponding letter in the middle row in the inner ring. The letter that is sitting opposite it in the outer ring is the letter that goes in the bottom row. To solve the key, though, we need to work backwards. But here's the stupid part: you are somehow supposed to know that the letters along the top row are just the pattern DOG repeated. So, it's DOGD and OGDO. I don't blame you in the least if this is still confusing.

@@dimitroffofficial Remember DOG is key, as it says so on computer and the dog. Start the alphabet (blue inner ring) corresponding to each letter of DOG. So, for D, move ring to so A is under D. Now look to where U in the blue ring aligns with to the outer purple ring. In this case X. When you move A to be under OG, they, will come up with GG. So for RDKQ RURF, working backwards, the middle letters are DOGD OGDO. So for RDKQ when outer R, aligns with inner D, what letter does A point to? Then outer D aligns with O, what does A align with? Etc

Ok, so DOG acts as a key to the last word puzzle. By using the round plate with two levels of letters, you can decode the word. And since the 8 letter answer is already given, you have to work backwards. For example, align the inner letter D to A and then look at the inner X, it should align to The outer U, then align O to A and then inner G should point to outer S and so on. So using DOG as your key, apply it to the right side 8 letter result going DOGDOGDO as your key and you should get open door

You need to factor 210 (the room number) in the same manner as shown in the recipe. Thus, 210 = 21x10 = 3x7x2x5

@@James-ko9qj the example in the recipe shows it the same way: first, it's some number x 10, then you need to factor that number, as well as 10, and write in the order smaller factor x larger factor. At least that is what the example has done

D is the third letter from alphabet if A is 0, U is the twentieth. 3+20=23 X is the twenty-third letter from alphabet. Ect ect
