I actually bought the logitech K350 keyboard for when my work switched to at home only. I totally agree with this assessment. Once you get used to it it's a great keyboard and the battery life is crazy. I use this keyboard for work and haven't had to replace the batteries since I bought the thing 4 months ago.

MK345 for 5 years here since 2018 when I replaced may it rest in peace Gigabyte Force K6, and stickers have not worn in 5 years, if thats the downside in his review then I guess he can't comment on that, since Linus can't wait 4-5 years wearing out a keyboard to verify it. Not one KEY is worn for me and I god damn love it, just one of the rubbers underneath fell off sometime so that's an issue and also a bit harder to clean the crevices and underneath is now a bit worn and scratched but god I love it, I will probably just replace it with another MK345 and yes I have a M720 Triathlon mouse, and I've literally replaced it every 2 years and bought 2 just today to be set for 4 years as the clicks per mouse is about 10M before the switch gives which is right on the money, literally 2y-2.5y in it wears out..

MX Keys here. I like low, silent keys EDIT: There seems to be some interest, so here's a followup: MX Keys is excellent, best one I could find. A tad heavy and I wish the backlight didn't turn off on its own, but other than that - great. The MK470 is only a bit worse and much cheaper. I've also used the MK220 one for years, only upgraded to MX Keys relatively recently. I recommend these two if you're on a tighter budget - small, simple, durable, get the job done. Also tried HP Pavilion Wireless 800, but it's bad

I have the logitech keyboard + mouse set ( 6:15 ) and I can confirm that battery life is really amazing! I use only the mouse for work and every evening after I am done, I turn the mouse off, so it won't discharge. I have it 1 - 2 years and I still did not need to change the battery. The response is also great!

I have Logitech K340 from ~10 years ago - with sticker legend - maybe they were clear coated or something, still they are there after all those years and keyboard besides a bunch of scuffs on glossy plastic looks and works like brand new. @@microbuilder I have both the 350 and the 345. I had to ditch the 350 after the keyboard broke during an office move otherwise i'd probably still be using it. I've had the 345 for about 12 months but i am moving to a mid-high tier keyboard because i am having massive connection issues with the 345 when there is even the smallest obstruction between the KB and the PC this is a big problem when you game from your couch.

@@jgodbee3090 Now that you mention it, I've run into issues with the signal too...I had the dongle plugged into the back of the PC, and even with the PC next to me, that was sometimes enough to block the signal. Moved the dongle to one of the front USBs and havent had the problem since.

I've been running exclusive Logitech mouses and keyboards since 2016, and I was never disappointed. Here's a list of Logitech products I bought: G610, G700s, MX Master 1, MX Anywhere 2s, K845 and a bunch of other cheaper combo units I picked for my office. I can see myself sticking with Logitech in a long foreseeable future.

When looking at over $100 mechanical keyboards there is definitely competition in the wireless space against Logitech but hands down they win in the sub $50-75 category. When working IT I never worried about quoting a wireless logitech product, I always just reviewed the form factor of keyboards available with the client. It was one of the most stress free things I could recommend, never had someone say my recommendation was shit. Heck a $40 combo was more impressive to a client than an $80 MS BT surface keyboard that kept disconnecting.

Ive tried way more expensibe products since and they barely last 1 to 2 years. Total joke how they market rgb and dpi but their products break easily under normal wear or underperform the gaming gear that is a decade old. When he pulled out the Logitech Wave Keyboard I nearly spilled my drink over my own Wave Keyboard. Serious! This Keyboard is amazing! Had it for nearly 10 years now and it still holds up! Only downside is range when you sit far away from the dongle, but it has a USB-extension cord in the box. If you want a cheap wireless keyboard.. Go for it guys! :)

We have a logitech wave k350 at work and it's a decidedly decent board. It's at the shared computer and is always filthy because I work in a park, but the legend has held up well against dirt and grime and scrubbing. And you can't underestimate the value of an ergo board

6:18 I use this combo at work. I'm generally very happy with it as an office keyboard and mouse, even for CAD work. One small complaint - in an office full of other 2.4Ghz devices, the batteries on do not last 36. I usually start seeing problems after 6-8ish. It works, but its laggy. That is really respectable work time and its not a big deal, but far from the 36 months, if you are in an office with 10 other people with the same set + some wireless headphones + phones + whatever. The legend is also rock solid, even on frequently used keys, it has not budged, and i've that keyboard for years now. I've never tried gaming on it, so i'm not sure how is the lag, but for CAD and office work, it not noticeable.

People were shocked i was kicking their butt with the waves keyboard when they aksed what gear i was using. Used g910 ms it broke in 2 years just after warranty. Got a k70 and its multityping after 1 year... replacing it under warranty in 2 weeks and sellingnit on marketplace as a new unopened item. I bought another mk 550 to replacs the k70 already. Lasts mk 550 lasted 7 years until sisters boyfriend spilled a beer on it.

I'm using M331 mouse from that MK345 combo; no issues of owning it in last 3 years other than slight logo fading. The factory batteries lasted for 1.5-2 years, then I replaced it with Duracell ones. I might upgrade my mouse to G304/305 when price drops.

Basically all North (and South) American languages don't need the weird extra key that an ISO keyboard has so they usually use ANSI keyboards. The ANSI keyboard is generally considered to have the more ergonomic layout and is more popular worldwide.

hey linus, i use a $2.2 keyboard and i haven't changed it since 2015, now the shift key has been broken so i am going to buy another one like this, when it is new it's keys are very hard, its a simple hp keyboard but after 5 years of use, mine became the most smooth keyboard i've ever used, even mechanical and expensive keyboards are nothing compared to mine, just put your finger on it and apply like 1/10th of the force you apply on a laptop's keyboard, and it functions. PS; i've been gaming on it for 5 years.

@@brothermanbill914 it's almost as if that is the standard size for the keyboard layouts in my language that despite incorporating multiple accents and symbols on different letters manages to place them on smaller keys or on various other key layers so that the enter can be more easily reached instead of having a gigantic key for slashes. I've been rocking a Logitech K800 for a few years now. The keys are as nice to type on as you said, the input lag is low enough I can't notice it in anything, its got great battery life, AND its backlit. It's not RGB but it is a nice, and most importantly even, white. Even after a few years I still get a few weeks of battery, easily, with 6+ hours a day of use. And its got a calculator key above the numpad. Yes it sounds silly, but once you get used to it any keyboard without feels lacking

They are very hard to find. I am currently using a Logitech MK295, but what I would really like is a USB-dongle-wireless white Unicomp with black key legends, a dedicated mute key and without backlighting on AA or AAA batteries. As far as I know, no such keyboard exists, despite the fact that it would be great for those not-all-that-rare dinosaurs among us who still work for a living.

I've been gaming on a Logitech K360 for close to 8 years now, and I've loved it. It's compact so it fits on my old corner desk's keyboard tray perfectly with just enough room for the mouse and mousepad, it still has tenkey, the 2 AA batteries last for like 2 years, and yeah it's membrane chicklet-style keys with stickers (the WASD key labels are completely worn away now) but my touch-typing as..... uh, well, I can still break 100wpm with no problems. I don't remember what model the mouse was that came with it but I tossed it for an M510 about I-don't-remember-how-many years back, and Logi's unifying software and receiver that came with the mouse just paired them both up perfectly. I couldn't hazard a guess as to the response time in milliseconds but it's imperceptible to me so I'm happy. Oh yeah, and it used to have pop-out feet but one of them broke off after a few years.

Agree, K360 is incredible value keeb, swapped it for more expensive mechanical anne pro 2(modded, using it around 1 year) - its different, but even now I can't say which one is better.
