@@florenceobrien2822 No, you mispronounced Bichon. I had a good friend who had several Bichons and that is how she pronounced the name of the breed. Maltese is a breed of dog, but it's not the Maltese dog. The German Shepherd is more correctly called the German Shepherd Dog although German shepherd or GSD is the more common name
