🚪Me encanta el lenguaje y el reto de comprender verdaderamente las palabras. Ahora al tema de las cerraduras de las puertas. Investigué demasiado sobre esto, así que probablemente sea aburrido. Cuando Ana describió el seguro (segurito), encontré la palabra inglesa que creo que es "Thumb Turn" y cierra una puerta desde adentro. Veo que son más comunes en puertas interiores y normalmente no tienen una ranura para llave en el exterior de la puerta. A veces, las puertas exteriores, además de tener una ranura para llave que activa el pestillo, tienen un cerrojo adicional con una ranura para llave separada. Algunas puertas también tienen cerraduras de cadena en el interior y existen otros tipos de cerraduras deslizantes que se pueden usar en el interior. Esta aburrida investigación me permitió aprender alrededor de 6 palabras nuevas en español (e inglés) sobre las cerraduras. 🚪🚪

I have been very much enjoying learning from your podcasts, but have been curious about your 99.9999% statistic of houses in the world that have refrigerators. I realize the number is just an exaggeration to point out, from your point of view, that essentially all houses have this, but do they? I think there are probably at least many hundreds of millions of people who live in structures that would be called houses by most people but that don't have refrigerators. Some people are lucky to get electricity and then they use it for a lightbulb. Maybe I missed something. But please keep doing the wonderful work that you do!
