Good Quiz! Just a correction to the explanation of Gulzar's question. He did not fail in film direction during his early years but it is something which he started doing later in the career (His first film was in 1971, whereas he started as a lyricist in 1960). And also, he is an accomplished film director with multiple Filmfare and National Film awards. Some of his movies are - Aandhi (1975), Angoor (1982), Ijaazat (1987), Maachis (1996). Most of his films were superhit and critically acclaimed.
