Borderlands 2 has been out for over 10 years but still has an active community thanks to challenge runs of the game, Allegiance runs, weapon restricted runs, a gunless run even, and whatever you call what gasmask does, but all of these challenge runs center around one thing, and it isn’t guns, it’s experience it's levels baby, the higher the level the stronger you are. Getting early game levels in BL2 is pretty common, with the DLC’s being the source of XP, now most people get to level 7 and some even to 10 and then stop, but I ask can I, and not should I? So this is how I hit the max level before killing the first boss. At least max level for normal mode
In Normal Mode the max level is 50, you can technically push it farther but XP gain decreases exponentially after hitting 50, so for this video max level is 50
The only rules for the run are No BAR and no returning to claptrap's place once I left until I was at level 50. This challenge was also done completely vanilla with no mods on. Also I didn’t do any read only farming for the run because I never got access to the stash anyways.

This video is one of my favorites I've made because it's a super unique idea in challenge done in Borderlands 2 because so many challenges have been done in that game, and yet I've done something first pretty cool. Also 12 hours of editing a day for 4 days straight made me a husk of a man never doing that again

the thing is that reached a certain point one cannot receive experience if too overleveled
