@@jasong5696 Yo! Don't know if I can help you, but when I started making beats, almost 2 years ago, I struggled with that too, what I suggest you to do to improve your 808s is try to recreate patterns of your favourite songs, at one point you will know so many patterns that you'll start to experiment new stuff automatically, for melodies is kinda the same, go listen to other people beats, listen to the sound selection and try to create something similar... Working smarter is better than harder sometimes

Actually i think making beats fast gets your creativity fully out of you, because you don't really can think so much about what you're doing. For someone like me who hasn't had that much time for making beats in the past it was hard but good to learn to be fast. This is really helpful, especially in sessions with artist or other producers. Going for these Placements beats to on my channel. Simple but bouncy is the key

Okay, I’m probably gonna get some heat for this but my boy… you made a 8 bar loop in 10 minutes. This ain’t a full placement beat and there was so many sloppy things about this beat that had my ocd going harder than the beat was. All love though 😏 beat was still hard 🔥 …hard to watch 🤣

I can somehow make beat in 6 hours if you ask me 😃🔥🔥
