Just a fact La llorona didn't drown her husband she only drowned her children because her husband left her. After she drowned her children she started looking for them as like taking people's kids and crying because she never found them. That's the story well most of it.

samantha gomez that’s one version of it but the one that i know is that La Llorona drowned her kids because her husband fell for a younger woman and her husband would only come to visit his children and payed no attention to her so she grew angry with her kids also because they reminded her of her husband so she lured her kids to the river and drowned them and then drowned herself and after her ghost has been luring kids by crying and taking them but some of the stories stated that her kids weren’t drowned but in a boat that drifted away

The version that I know is that she was cleaning her clothes in a river, cuz back then that’s how people would wash clothing, and her two children were playing around and fell in the river and drowned, La Llorona never found her children’s bodies and has then been looking for her children with remorse in rivers. She can’t Rest In Peace until she finds the bodies of the children.

‘Superficial charming spirits’ they find that out the hard way down the road lol. Seen at the Sallie house, as well as many darker places like that, can have these spirits - who pretend to be nice, and connect with others (usually kids) by lying. (Sometimes based off an actual family member who used to be here, or making one up altogether, yet still appearing/sounding like a kid when caught on camera/recorded). Even ghost adventures have had their encounters like this as well. (They’ve done things like pushing house/building owners into negative thoughts, hurting them, etc)
