This was definitely a family reunion. Quizzes, trick shot videos, beer league shenanigans, and road trips with your best friends. Love to Jonny forever, miss Emilie, the brilliance of Fluca, Corwin being so goddamn humble (don't worry...he'll tell you about it), Sam's ability to laugh at himself so much, Julia's naive banter with whomever is on the other side of the camera, Jesse blowing out our eardrums before the quiz even starts, and Z being the puppet master with his finger itching on the button. Shout out to Julia for doing everything she could to be professional and smile while clearly holding back tears as Z was talking about Johnny and how far everything has come for them. So much can change in half a decade and this show is proof of that weather it’s from changing to a new studio, dealing with the loss of a friend, trying to continue on as normally as possible during the pandemic or simply just through the many guests who have came and gone. But the fact through all of that the show continues to go on and be there consistently for all of us as we all collectively go through our own personal changes in life is what means the most to me and I’m sure so many other fans as well. Regardless of the topic or who wins, just seeing a new bar down quiz video being posted means I know no matter what I’m going through lpersonally, the next 15-25 mins of my day I’ll be able to escape from it all, learn something new about hockey and have some laughs along the way. I have 3 favorite moments: 1: Jessie feeling Teemu's face up, and flipping out after he took the blindfold. 2: Seeing ya all sitting together like actual friends. 3: The fact that ever since his passing, you guys have honored Johnny. I have been here from the start, I watched the first bardown quiz when I was 12. Now I'm almost 17 and I never stopped loving hockey and looking forward to these quizzes, this for me shows that you guys are definitely doing something right. You guys are so much fun to watch even though sometimes it's literally just friends hanging out. You all are so funny, tons of laughs, and this quiz did a great job compiling the best moments. One moment I want to mention that I laughed a lot at (that wasn't mentioned in this quiz) is Z and Luca joking about scamming people with AHL tickets :D that moment was amazing. It feels like it doesn't matter what you guys do, it's entertaining either way. The roadtrip videos and for example the video where you went to the hockey card expos and pranked Jesse, a fun one. The game capsules, videos you have done with pro hockey players comparing them to their stats in the NHL games, class. There really isn't other bardown like content on KZbin and that makes you guys stand out. Looking forward to what formats you do in the future and uhh yeah, keep delivering with the formats we already know and love

These quizzes got me into hockey back in 2020 when the KZbin algorithm decided to recommend me the TSN channel during the pandemic. As a Mexican teenager that had no previous experience with the sport, the humour and personalities of you guys made me get into what is now my favourite sport. One of my favorite concepts was the geography quizzes, which made me come up with an interesting question if you guys want to consider: What 7 countries are currently represented by NHL captains? Something about Z saying “your a story editor” and Johnny saying “that’s right” with such a happy tone and wide smile is so amazing to see how much he seemed to love his job and his friends. I'm about to get into the quiz, and all I have to say is, thank you for making it along with every other quiz! Any Bardown content for me is a little escape from the outside world, it's always a good vibe throughout the entire thing, it's a look into NA culture, especially in the roadtrip videos, and watching them from Latvia I just feel a certain kind of vibe I don't get elsewhere. I definitely shouldn’t be this emotional over silly little hockey quiz videos on YT but y’all seriously are apart of my childhood forever, y’all are a big part of why I even got into hockey in the first place, like these will become nostalgic for me eventually and this episode felt like a finale that I kinda never wanna see. Like I will remember the names Jesse, Luca, Corwin, Risser, Sam, etc for a long time and seriously thank you for being a huge piece of my childhood.

I don’t even watch hockey, didn’t know a thing about it before coming across this channel, but I still watch the Bardown quizzes regularly. I’m literally refreshing my feed every other day to see if there’s a new quiz out. Congratulations on 5 years guys! The quizzes themselves are enjoyable but the heart and soul of them is the people involved in them. Beautiful tribute to Johnny at the end, his smile will never be forgotten.
