i started at 12, too. i recently turned 14. i managed to make 1st chair all county for snare and marimba somehow, despite being behind a year in experience. i just really enjoy this instrument and i have a love for it that few can understand. i’m glad that my parents support me with this.

I'm not a drummer but I've been a musician for over 18 years now!! But I'm VERY impressed with these young talented men and women, their skill and talent will take them far in the music industry. Keep it up and I promise you, this will be the BEST times of your lives!! As for the 11 idiots that gave this video a 👎!!?? quads for musicality, snare for rhythym. I personally go for quads as some cool features come out of it, but snares have complex rhythyms.
