I mean I’m having head aches back aches acne nausea with almost everything I eat unless it’s pickles or something light or salty, sore and itchy breasts, sweating at night when it’s cool in my home (kinda like hot flashes which I never have with period) I’m eating more bc I feel more hungry (usually only eat once a day with small snacks in between that’s just how my appetite normally is ) sleeping more , urinating more, literally feel bloated like pregnancy bloated ( you know how you can just feel it in your stomach) etc what do you think ? It seems to have worked for you when you tried it … it kinda worked on her dollar store test (the rectangle one that said T and C for test and control ) even tho she feels or felt it was an evap line… and thinks the answer is probably no you can’t re use ? Yeah, you usually definitely can. Just no more than once or twice and you need to make sure not to over-sample each time. They don't feel comfortable telling you all of this because it won't work perfectly each time and because they do not want to be held liable if you do get an inaccurate test result.

It’s 19dpo for me on iui #6, and I’ve never been this late. Usually get af at 12dpo on the button. Ran out again of tests but my opks have been positive for well over a week after well confirmed ovulation so I’m insanely confused so I did this with like 8 tests. Some turned positive, some did not.. although, I haven’t gotten any real positive Hpt so it isn’t reliable. I’ll let u know if that changes, and it does have me a little excited, I was 9dpiui with my twins 11dpiui with dd and my 2 boys I wasn’t trying but know it was at least when af didn’t show but hpts weren’t that sensitive. Been trying hard so I hope the ones turning positive end up to b true but I’m just stumped. Gonna have to c the doc for bloods but canceled my beta when at 14 days past I had big time af pains and other af sxs, and bfn, but have read stories of late positives so we shall see. I need to get more FRER!!

I did a test too in case anyone is wondering. I recently got very faint positives, possible evap. I took 2 tests(equate .88) that I had used weeks prior that were negative didn’t have an evap as far as I could see. 1 test with water stayed stark white, one with my pee contained an “evap” or line. And 1 I saved from my miscarriage(I saved a lot) that was positive, I added water to and it’s still positive.

If there's no dye left, you have to open it up & put the urine on the other side where the dye has already ran all the way through. If there's a little bit of remaining dye remaining because you didn't use enough urine on the initial test, then it could work possibly..

Maybe an early MC? HCG levels could have gone up but then declined when the pregnancy turned out not to be viable, before you took the test or had what would have looked like your period. Just thinking, if you’ve never been late before.

I did the same thing. I was curious. Im 36 and have 3 kids. After my last i had a tubal ligation because the drs recommended i should. I got a faint positive yesterday with a mid day test not first morning which is shocking but i was late on my period. That’s weird to me. The first two tests I took (first response) came up negative but I kept them anyway. When I was cleaning out my drawers for the upcoming summer they were both positive. Or rather looked positive. Maybe the ink from the test bled afterwards. Since I knew for a fact that I wasn’t pregnant. Hmph. Weird.

That can happen - its called an evaporation line. This is why pregnancy tests have a time limit that you can see a result. Most test say not to check a test after 10 minutes. :)

Marissa Fahez not correct. you are actually supposed to hold then in urine for 20 seconds. if you are peeing directly on the stick then you hold the stick in the urine stream for only 5 seconds. I just took 8 different tests, all positive, but needed to be sure lol.

You can't reuse a test since the chemical in the test that's looking for the hormones in the urine breaks down and is no longer there for a 2nd try on a used test. Urine breaks the chemical down to being inert and thus all you have left is a plastic handle with urine-soaked fibers and nothing more. The manufactures design it that way specifically so you have to buy more and more. Someone that designs a test for reuse would make a lot of money! I have seen women walk into stores and buy 20-30 tests a time (at the dollar store) when they are trying to get pregnant. If someone came out with a reusable which would alleviate that expense and hassle then Women everywhere would give a sigh of relief I'm certain!
