My tip: Avoid painted road markings while riding in the rain. If you already happen to be on a line or something , go straight ahead without changing direction or slowing down. You will eventually escape painted area in soon.

I actually enjoy riding my Electric Unicycle in the rain at times. I find I get far less wet than riding my Ebike. Standing allows the water to run off my rain gear. When riding my ebike my legs, stomach and shoes get soaked. My shoes are water proof but because they are moving and shifting my water "proof" pants the water gets inside the shoes. Nice vid

I have ridden my Gotway MSuper V2 numerous times in the rain. I had a small problem only one time: after about an hour in very heavy rain, the buzzer stopped working, apparently waterlogged. I hoped it would resume working when it dried out, but after a month, the buzzer was still dead. I was amazed probably another month later, the buzzer started working again, and it has been fine ever since!

gotway msupers are not waterproof so id double check inside, iv used a rubber seal on mine like on euc guys video. and for some reason gotway screwed the mainboard through the plastic on the msuperx and you can see the screws stick out when you look through the wheel from front or back, they will eventually rust. i ride motorbikes and a motorbike helmet will be drier but you have to wipe the visor every other minute.
@AlienRides5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it seems like gotway is very inconsistent, some have the screws sticking out, some don't. Definitely a good idea to add more seals if you can, but I haven't had any problems yet. How do you wipe your motorbike helmet? Do you have a special glove or anything?
@pottacoola5 жыл бұрын
@@AlienRides I was thinking of using rubber washers on the screws or guming the tip of them with rubber but its the pain of removing everything. Mainly i just wipe with my glove lol is annoying on long rides but i do have them gloves with a rubber blade to wipe the visor and its ok but i got a cheap pair and the blade is like plastic almost so too hard to act like a real wiper blade. you could buy a cheap wiper blade and cut it and stick it on your thumb that would be a better idea. im thinking of doing this and replace the plastic blade for the rubber one.

@@AlienRides yes I did see that Matt a.k.a EUC GUY water proofed his MSX with silicone Looks like alot of work, I think it better to cut out your own gaskets either with cork or rubber because wouldnt silicone tend to stick to the joining pcs I mean would you need to re-apply everytime you did work on the inside of an EUC, or would you be good to go once the silicone has cured 😕?
@AlienRides5 жыл бұрын
Jack Volta yeah, not sure I imagine you would need to reapply, seems like a lot of work!
@GodzillaGoesGaga5 жыл бұрын
@Jack, with silicone sealant you can make a gasket and let it dry/cure before closing up (ie one side is bedded and the other is proud). In essence you have now made a gasket that's an exact fit with a compression fit. Just put a small amount of oil on top of the gasket and it won't stick to the other surface. You can also use dielectric grease or Vaseline around the periphery of connectors to keep moisture out but make sure you don't get this on the metal conductors (pin/socket).
