Hi I saw the solution at the end but one doubt is how can we be sure that A will have 98 coins and C and E will get one each then what about others the B and D. Also what is the sureity that C and E will accept it. Can you explain in bit detail please it will be very helpful?? Thank you !!

I think if we assume that pirate A will only give coins to any two of the other pirates, then Pirate A can distribute the coins almost equally. Like, the other two pirates will be having 33 coins each and Pirate A can have 34 coins himself. Thus he also wins the vote and gets coins. Isn't this the maximum? Please look into this.

But here how can we conclude that C and E will not oppose......they could have opposed by demanding an equal share like 33 or atleast one of them will get 34......
