Can You Stand Up and Bass Fish in an Ascend H10 Kayak?

@@JJTFishing I noticed in some moments you were standing up. How stable is this kayak when you do stand in it? Would you attempt to land a fish while standing in it? I owned the ascend 12t kayak before I sold it for my boat but I could stand on that thing all day with no problems fighting fish when I did either.

@@Collectorbrandz The H10 is pretty easy for me to stand in. I'm 5.8" 165lbs. I boat flip small fish standing up but have to sit to land the bigger fish. I never stand when it's windy or on a lake with lots of other boats making wakes.

Hey. Love your vids. Seen all H10 videos. Beautiful locations. I have the H10 and love it. I’d consider myself to have good balance. I’m 5’8” (173cm). My back is getting very sore on long days. I’d like stand to stretch out… but I barely get upright and feel no way I’ll be able to prevent capsizing. So I sit back down. You have any tips/strategies on how you get comfortable and maintain stability.

I’m 5’8” as well. I only stand up if there’s calm waters. I keep my stance as wide as possible. It felt sketchy when I first started doing it and now it’s pretty easy. Just practice in safe shallow water with no gear in the boat until your comfortable. You got this!

That H10 looks like it's so sturdy in the water. I'm thinking about upgrading from my budget kayak that feels like it wants to tip if you move wrong.
