Kinda irritated by the cheating comments. The premise of the challenge is to survive in a world with everything set to nothing. Period. There are no other rules or requirements other than the implicit rule of no changing the game via mods. 1. He literally set World gen settings to nothing 2. He didn't use mods 3. He abused game mechanics built into the game. 4. There was no rule saying he can't get help. This reminds me of Davie504's fiver challenge. If you haven't seen it, spoiler: the riff he wanted fiver bassists to replicate was done with a second person. He gave a list of rules to each bassist. None of the rules had a limit on having someone else help. No one figured this out. No one beat his challenge. Had the premise been: Survive 1 year with nothing by yourself and without disconnecting, then he'd be cheating. I'll throw in a challenge! Survive 1 year without putting anything in your inventory for more than 5 seconds. You can equip items indefinitely. Period. Imo, here are possible exploits I wouldn't consider cheating. 1. Getting a friend or more to help 2. leaving an item held by the cursor 3. constantly swapping equipment to meet that 2 second requirement.

Soooo, you can't survive with nothing then. Having people come in and just give you stuff defeats the purpose. There is no challenge in that. Without those people giving you shit, (that you couldn't get because they were disabled) you would have died. I get that it's Don't starve "together" and there's loopholes. But in reality, with nothing enabled, no you can't survive.

@@Degaliuss Lol no? A speedrun is a speedrun, it doesn't have rules in place. In fact it's the complete opposite of this. This has rules set in place - and they were broken. This could have been a good/fun challenge if the rules were defined better. For example, when he said "survive with nothing" did he mean no base, or nothing at all? You can't survive with nothing at all, so wouldn't the rules then be no base and bare minimum supplies? Without this, the whole run turned into a wishy washy mess.
