The videos were pulling in ALOT of it, and Stephen was always only paid less than 1%. He argued with Dan about it, and Dan replied with that he's just an employee that is replaceable and will never amount to anything. Stephen apparently only stayed in DanPlan because of Hosuh, who started DanPlan with Dan. Dan made a reply to the situation later, saying not everything Stephen was saying was true, and that he still considers him a friend. (1/2)

@@acatonceattackedmeandscrat6302 Money Issue - Proper Explanation from the Wiki: When they started making money off of it, Dan divided the money 50/50 with Hosuh and left Stephen out. When Hosuh asked for the money to go help the channel, Dan decided to split the money 85 for him and 15 for Hosuh. Somewhere around this time, Stephen got $25 dollars per hour of recording. In March, Stephen found out about this and asked Dan for 20% of the revenue, which Dan says "No, you’re just an employee, you have no share." After the fight, Stephen got $100 per video they recorded. Stephen tried his hardest to show to Dan that he was worth something to the channel by doing several personalities to show his talent. Stephen also found out how much the animators got paid (~$450 per month). Jay felt like something was off, so in July he started an investigation. Dan tried to make him stop. When Jay found out all the problems DanPlan had and tried to fix it with Dan, Dan just dismissed him because he knew what he was doing. Jay learned that he was going to replace Hosuh due to mandatory military service. Dan said to Jay that he was not going to get paid during that time. Then, Dan said he would $25 per hour of recording, but Jay refused My Personal Notes: DanPlan was previously 2m subscribers around the time this problem arose, which at this point is nearly 3 years ago. And only just recently did this channel go back to 2m, just barely. (2/2)

If only Dan was more reasonable - Perhaps this channel would have grown larger. From being able to rack up millions of views, down to a few 100k. Dan made his mistakes. Its sad what it all came to be. This was a really good channel with good concepts, stories and people. But hey, another bonus story, apparently there were also allegations against Jay for being a pedo, which apparently lead him to delete all his socials. What a crap show :'c

Now i'm stuck here because i once again found a person of interest in this channel, for the part with Stephan. If you happend to do something with your friends while getting some money from it just to find out both of them make a ton of money from it, not only not telling you about it and just giving you less than 1% but also just for one of them to basically call you a tool after you find out and simply ask for a way to get at least that 1%. What would you do? Because i'd also cut off contact with the fake part of the group and never comeback, especially after they never acknowledge me leaving and or ever try to even reason about it.
