Who knows if you guys will ever do cake stuff again, but I have some tips as a (semi) professional baker: Fondant is an utter pain to roll, but it is a little more malleable if you add in some fat (shortening). To get your cake layers to stick together, add some frosting/icing between each layer. 6:59 you're beautiful Dan There are tools out there that actually assist in the smoothing of fondant so you don't have to cut off so much, plus with laying fondant, try to lay in around the middle so that the most amount of fondant can cover the cake. Honestly guys, for your first time making a shaped cake, not a bad job!
