Hello everybody, trying to decide which of these two works best for me, can you tell the difference?

Hi from the UK. I'm also trying to decide between shades Lisa Eldridge 5 and 7. I think 7 will be the one. Its a beautiful formula and looks and feels like skin. I think number 7 works best for you overall. Kudos to Lisa for launching so many inclusive shades. Take care.

Hi, thank you for this video. I am considering no.5 and 7 too and am still waiting for my sample cards to arrive. I think no.7 matches your neck and chest area better than no.5 so if you want a natural look I’d say go with no.7. No.5 seems a touch on the paler side compared to your neck but if you wanted to look bright in the center of your face, no.5 may work with a little extra bronzer.

New subscriber, I can’t choose between 5 & 7 because they both look good. All I would say is 5 looks slightly flat and the 7 brings out a better colour. Thank you for sharing this, as I prefer KZbinrs videos to marketing ploys.

I thought No. 5 brought a little more light or radiance to your face and thought I would choose it. After you put on the rest of your makeup, I think that No. 7 makes it all look a little more cohesive. Both are beautiful.

By now you may have already made your choice, but I found this video just today... So I will give a bit of my view, ok? 7 seems to blend straight away, totally matching and looks rather good, while 5 brings light to the face, like it's a brighter day... May be 7 is more for summer when anyone's skin gets darker/warmer? I'd vote for 5 as the only one... Thank you for sharing this video (I'm still waiting to get the samples but in my mind also was thinking 2, 5 or 7)

Ended up getting 7 for the winter...one of the main reasons is because number 5 is very close to my Surratt Dew Foundation (number 3), perhaps later, I would get Lisa's #5. Now I did :) Still think I'll follow your steps and first get all the 8 light numbers in blisters, 'cause when it comes to choice of foundation I simply like pinks for ..uhm... being pinks while in fact more neutral or even slightly yellowish options are better on me(takes a few tries with mirrors and all friends and my daughter)...

I had the same issue! I'm between 5 and 7... and couldn't really tell a difference. I bought 5 because it's easier to add bronzer and we're going into winter, so my skin will get paler lol

That is good, I found 5 gives a brighter look, it goes very nice with the Lucent Lipsticks, and 7 more subdue look (if that is a word) on me. Enjoy!

I have light medium 9-12... I hesitate between shades 10 & 11.... both of them are fine for my face but a little to dark for my neck (my neck is very pale)... so I will try to get light set 2 because I want to try shade 7... it seems to me that I have neutral undertone....

No. 5 did look noticeably lighter when you compare side by side with your bare face, but I can't really tell the difference once you've put on no. 7. Both look radiant, no. 7 probably matched very well with your neck/shoulders overall I think? No. 5 maybe a little more radiant, seems like it covers under eyes and redness better. Maybe test with strong flash and under sunlight? I am as puzzled as you 😂 go with your instincts if 7 is the one you like ❤️

Very close on my screen it looks as if the 5 covers the red more , but both are good

For me I'm 5, 6 or 7. I will get all three and find the right one and return the other two.

I got 7, but probably will end up buying 5 too. I find they give me a different kind of look. 5 is brighter, more light and I like it more with the Lucent color lipsticks in her line and then 7, seems more subdue look, that I like better with the warmer velvet color lipsticks. Enjoy!

I think these are too pinky, and you might be better in something just a little yellower. I think 7 is the right level of pigment. There's still a lot of redness around the nose. 7 is definitely better. This will help me. I think I am 7 too. Now 2 years later, do you still like the foundation?

Hi 👋 Well, I bought #5 and as you said probably #7 would have been much better for me. I used it couple of times and #5 became ashy color after couple of hours which didn't complement me, it was also a tiny bit drying, but I do have sensitive dry skin so it doesn't mean it will be drying on everyone. I don't pull it out much now and it is not part of my favorites, that is not to say it is not a good foundation. Also, I usually use very light coverage and more towards clean beauty. So in this category of Lisa Eldridge Foundation, I probably would recommend Haus Labs, Dior Forever (or backstage) and No1 de Chanel instead. If you want a little more coverage (full): Hourglas, Shiseido and if you have combined to oily skin: Esteel Lauder Double Wear. And if you want a very light, good and confortable for your skin, every day (like what I wear most days) will be Chantecaille Gel Skin, Cle De Peau Cushion, Westman Atelier Stick..... For a more formal event, still light coverage: Surratt Dew Drop Foundation is my to go.
