Playa Palmilla looked like a nice chill beach! I went to Cabo from a cruise several years ago, and it was so hard to get away from the tourist area. I'll keep these places and tips in mind if we go over there in the future!

It was fun to feel a little more local! Pretty much all of Cabo was touristy but that’s not always bad. It was worth a visit to experience once but not sure I’d go back. I would definitely go back to that region though! There’s so much to see and do outside of Cabo.

You’re welcome! We rented with Hertz and it was not good. I wouldn’t recommend them. They don’t include the required third party liability insurance and even though we called to confirm there would be no extra charges when we shows up it was over $350 more. We argued to decrease it but it was a huge pain. I’d recommend National. I’ve never had a problem with them and they make it easy to add the insurance before hand and see the whole price. Whoever you go with just make sure the third party liability insurance is clearly included on your reservation email. We did go to in October! We got lucky and missed two hurricanes haha.

It was a rainy a couple days but thankfully sunshine most of the time. July to October is usually rainy season (and hurricane season).

We booked with Hertz but we had issues, so I wouldn’t recommend them. I would recommend National though. They look more expensive but because you can add the third party liability ahead of time. They actually were cheaper than what Hertz wanted to charge us with the required insurance. I had to argue them down because when we called they said third party liability was included but it wasn’t when we got there.
