Nicholas Fleck My dad uses sticky traps in our shed and I’ve seen mice break bones and rip skin off themselves trying to escape. And a few lizards, too. I tried to talk to my dad but in his mind, getting rid of the “pests” is far more important than doing it humanely. I’ve secretly gone out and used a little bit of sawdust to cover the traps and make them less sticky. My dad has been sawing wood out there so it isn’t very suspicious.
