That sliding gate that Rudy built was so cool. He has a great knack for fabricating things to make them work. Alot of people think that they could work for you and excell, but you have the team that you have a round you for a reason. It's because they are individually the best at what they do. Hey! shop with a cop is awesome! My girlfriend and I both grew up local to Matt's Off-Road. My girlfriend got to shop with a cop as a child and still talks about how much joy the experience brought her and her siblings to this day. Toys and food for the family were provided that they would have otherwise gone without. Thank you for helping a cause that has legitimate impact on the families in the community around us. Wonderful to know that the program is still going and that they have supporters like you to continue.

Stay away from the TV deals! They will ruin everything that makes MORR what it is! They would need to add drama and conflict along with constant "Will they succeed?" before jumping to an ad. Recoveries would have to be scripted to meet the shooting schedule. KZbin has returned video to what people want to make and watch, rather than what hollywood executives and ad firms have determined to be a formula for creating the most ad revenue.

TV will try to turn this into American Chopper and will have Matt and Rudy fighting over made up nonsense and instead of showing recoveries they’ll just use that as a backdrop for manufactured drama. TV is old media, they don’t understand that people can actually be captivated by people just doing work, helping people, and solving problems and having fun.

I would put a flat protective plate outside the latch to keep the saw off the bolt and act as a stop to outswing. Sometimes we add a spring to swing the gate to the closed position and to stop wind rattle - also a drop bolt on the bottom and a receiving pipe in the dirt to hold the gate in the open position. Love the work you are doing for the community! Here in our community and county we do the same thing for the kids for Christmas, we call it shop with a hero, we invite all law enforcement, fire departments and EMS ambulance service personnel to participate and shop at Walmart and Meijer, I myself participated for almost 15 years through our fire department. We have 13 fire departments, 6 EMS, 11 police departments, Sheriff’s Department and the Michigan State Police. Even our 911 Dispatchers get involved..some times we have two heroes with 1 kid.

Yeah I live in Northern Sweden and here they have started salting the roads the last 10yrs, before that you could work with a 25yr old car and every single bolt was just wrenching loose without a problem. Now when you work with a 3yr old car you can expect that some of the bolts are going to snap... I fucking hate it.. I love that you give back to the community. I love the insane amount of suspension movement the Banana has now. Nowadays you can get welders that auto set heat and feed speed, which makes it easier to start out. You set the thickness of the material you are working on, and it sets everything else. I have a welder which I've really only used a half a dozen times, but boy is it handy when you need one!

@@mrdanomac7937 this is very true. I went to school to learn how to arc weld when I was in high school. I stupidly didn’t do anything with it and always was worried about the thickness and speed if I were to get back into it. I’m definitely going to get one of these auto welders. Now I just need a garage lol.🤔

@Dusty Steele check into the Vulcan series at HF...all the same features of the crazy expensive brands...looks about identical, yet $900 for a multimachine. Lots of shops have been using them daily for years without spending 4x the price

NICE Flex! Awesome that the Banana has finally received a lot of love and another fighting chance! The Mexico recovery OMG, thank you Trevor for your.....service to the watching community LOL! I cannot with Eric's giggling, it's too infectious. As soon as Matt got the call I said out loud "OH MAN Eric's going out for recovery I hope we get to see THAT video soon!" and voila! It was like holiday gifts came early and we got to see it right now. Thanks, Tucker! Another raise for Trevor for taking a fall for the team :D.
