i can definitely see the improvement! especially with the colours. since you're new to digital art i personally would not use gimp as a main program to use, since its more for photo editing. other free art programs like krita and fire alpaca would be easier to use. or if you want to spend money clip studio is a great option. but at the end of the day, if you feel comfortable using gimp keep using it 😊
