Ya you have to study something, so that you can get a good job. I have friends and family in Canada who went there as a student and they graduated in Punjab with Nursing degree and engineering and all are doing their jobs. If you studied nothing, how could you imagine an office job?? Most of the students are 12th pass and went to Canada on diploma not even degree, then what you expect from Canada. I am currently in US, graduated from Punjab and working 12 days a month as a Registered nurse and earning more than 80,000$. Here are alot of students in IT, software and other fields who are working 9-5 job and spending a good life. The Truth is that no one wants to study. Even the students who did engineering in India they come to Canada on Masters and not doing job in their feild because they have to pass an exam to get a license and do the job, which they can't do.

In India you loose your money due to corruption. In Canada ease of doing business is better . You work hard and you are rewarded many folds better. Your skills if used appropriately in Canada , you are rewarded better. If you don’t have any skill then survival is difficult in Canada without PR, but once you have PR government of Canada supports you and you can survive.

He is really stupid for many reasons. He said only gore make money, Punjabis here for just labour job? Cmn man if you are capable you get the job. I have seen several desi Punjabi at great level in their field and earning crazy money. It happens because of their continuous hard work.
