That place was so beautiful first thing in the morning - I had pink sky, sunrays, black clouds, a rainbow - all at the same time.

@@BrettWoodPhoto It was on the itinerary and route for our drive through Western Canada, but on paper didn't appear to be a highlight. Photography is 'The Art of capturing Light' and BL had it all. My best image was from Emerald Lake, Yoho NP though.

Great video! A goot tip i found with landscape photography is setting your iso to 50, its hidden in the settings of canons mirrorless cameras, but it allows for a longer exposure and less noise! Edit: just realised you did use iso 50... i feel like an idiot now ahahaha

Once again an enthralling video with great shots and friendly/educational dialogue Brett. Looking forward to the upcoming videos. I agree with you that the Canadian Rockies are breathtaking, Was there in 2017 with Ken Duncan in the winter and saw some awesome areas as well. If you get to Banff suggest you have a look at Two Jacks Lake. Cheers Colin

Colin cheers mate. Yes we did actually do a sunrise shoot at two jacks lake although didn’t video that one, there’s some great stuff coming up in the next couple of videos mate. So stay tuned. All the best.

Thanks a lot Chris, plenty more juicy stuff coming. The Rockies have grown on me immensely, it’s one of my favourite places on earth, I could easily spend a few months wandering around there.

Hi Brett, Just started to watch your videos, really nice work and teaching. My question: When you recorded with gopro that scene you went from right to left and camera speeded up and slowed down and again. I have this in my gopro 9 and I don't know why is it doing. Hope I made it clear, so it doesn't take too much of your time. Thank you anyways.

Hi thanks for watching, I’m not sure what you mean by the GoPro ? It seems to work fine for me.

Absolutely loved the sunset and sunrise photos ~ this looks like you are at or near Canmore? What lake were you at? I wonder if they older photographer behind you heard your comments about the pink sky he was taking a photo of ;)

I bet they don’t have pineapple on pizza over there , do you find a longer exposure gives better reflections why go 25 seconds .

G'day Brett. Love Calgary and the Rockies, such a magical place and I need to go back. Loved the video and the images (stunning) but felt sorry for the bloke setting up his composition behind you when you said it was a poor one 😂 Looking forward to seeing more of your time there.
