US /Canada වල car dealership සහ pre owned / brand new cars කියන්නෙ ලොකු scam එකක්. වාහනේ ලස්සනයි, නමුත් අන්තිමට කිව්ව දේවල් වලින් තේරුනා සෑහෙන්න ලොකු ගානක් අනවශ්‍ය විදිහට අරගෙන තියෙනව කියල. ඔය rust proofing, extended warranty කියන්නෙ ම බොරුවක්. ඒව ඇඩ් කරන්නෙ dealership එකෙන්. කොහොමත් ඔය වාහන හදන්නෙ rust එකට ඔරොත්තු දෙන්න තමයි. ඕව කලා කියල වෙනසක් වෙන්නෙ නෑ. finance කරල වාහනේ ගන්නව කියන්නෙ වාහනේ අයිති ඔයාලට. ඕක service කරන්න ඔය dealership එකටම අරන් යන්න උවමනාවක් නැහැ. සමහර dealership එයාලගෙන් ම services කරන්න පවා කියනව. ඒකත් එක්තරා Scam එකක් තමයි. dealership නැතුව වෙන පොඩි තැන් වලින් අඩු ගාණට හොඳට තමට ඕන හැටියට සර්විස් පවා කරගන්න පුලුවන්. dealership වල services කරනකොට අඩුගානෙ වාහනේ ලඟටවත් යන්න දෙන්නෙ නෑ. pre owned vehicle එකක් ගන්නකොට අනිවාර්යෙන් ම සැලකිලිමත් වෙන්න ඕන ඒ වාහනේ මෙ වෙනකොට තියෙන depreciated value එක. ඒකත් එක්ක වාහනේ ඇත්ත ම Actual Cash Value නැත්නම් fare market value එකට ගණන් හදල තමයි finance එක ගන්න ඕන. US වල නම් මේක Black Book, Kelley Blue Book, cars.com වගේ වෙබ් සයිට් එකෙන් බලාගන්න පුලුවන්. finance කරනකොට down payment එක දාන එකේ වරදක් නෑ. ඒත් brand new cars lease කරනකොට අනිවාර්යෙන් ම 0 down payment තමයි ගන්න ඕන. මාසික වාරිකය වැඩි වුනත් ඒක වාසියි. මොකද lease එකක් කියන්නෙ ඇත්තටම long term car rental එකක්. අවුරුද්දකට යන්න පුලුවන් millage එක limited. accident එකකදි totaled වුනොත් down payment එකම ලොස්. හැබැයි finance එකකදි එහෙම වුනොත් ඒ වාහනේ ඒ වෙලාවෙ වටිනාකම cash වලට දෙන්න පුලුවන්, finance එකෙන් අඩු කරල. වාහනයක් ගන්නකොට අනිවාර්යෙන් ම අහන්න ඕන වාහනේ OTD ප්‍රයිස් එක මොකක් ද කියල. ඒ කිව්වෙ out-the-door price. ඒ කියන්නෙ වාහනේ වටිනා කම MSRP, title, tax, dealership charges මේ සේරට ම යන ඔයා ඇත්තටම ගෙවන ගාන. ඒ වගේ ම තමන් දාන්නෙ lease එකක් ද, finance එකක් ද, cash දීල ගන්නවද වගේ දේවල් මුලින් ම කියන්න ඕන නැහැ. ඇහුවත් කියන්න එපා. මුලින් ම කරන්න ඕන වාහනේ OTD price එක price break down එකකින් අරගෙන බලන එක. එහෙම දෙන්න බෑ කිව්වොත් dealership එක දාල දුවන්න. ඒ වගේ ම dealership එකෙන් අහනව මාසෙට කීයක් ගෙවන්න ඕන ද කියල. මේක කීයටවත් කියන්න ඕන දෙයක් නෙවෙයි. මෙහෙම කිව්ව ගමන් මාසෙට ගාන බැලන්ස් කරල ඒක down payment එකට ඇඩ් කරනව. car dealerships ගොඩක් කැමති lease / finance customersල ට. එයාල අන්දන්න ලේසියි. cash buyersලට වැඩි කැමැත්තක් නෑ. dealerships හම්බුකරන්නෙ කාර් විකුණල ම විතරක් නෙවෙයි. services, extended warranty, addons, lease / finance කලාම බැංකුවෙන් ගෙවන ගනන් මේ සේරම තමයි income එක. ඒ නිසා අනවශ්‍ය විදිහට උන්ට අහුවෙන්න එපා ඊලඟ සැරේ. lease / finance දානවනම් dealership එකේන් දාන්න කලින් ඔයාගෙ බැංකුවෙන් අහල බලන්න car loan එකක් දෙනව ද කියල. credit score හොඳයි නම් බැංකුවෙන් ගත්තම interest rate එක සෑහෙන්න අඩුයි dealership එකෙන් ගන්නවට වඩා. dealership එකට rate හදන්නෙ ඩීලර්ගෙ ගානත් add කරල. බැංකුවෙන් ගත්තම එහෙම නෑ. කොහොම ගත්තත් අවසානෙට ගෙවන්නෙ ඔයාල. ඒ නිසා ලාබ ක්‍රමයට යන්න මීට පස්සෙ. ඔය lease කරනකොට dealership එකෙන් අනිවාර්යෙන් ම කොලේ වහල ගහනව MSRP price එක විතරක් පෙන්නල. නමුත් lease / finance දාන්නෙ ම ඔය සේරම එකතු කරල අන්න අර final OTD ප්‍රයිස් එකට. itemized price breakdown එක ගත්තම ඔය අනවශ්‍ය extended warranty, clearcoat, nitrogen gas, undercoat, car detailing, documentation fee, අරව මෙව වලට බොරුවට ගන්න ගනන් සේරම අඩු කරල ගන්න පුලුවන්. ඔයාල අලුත් නිසා සැඇහෙන්න අන්දල කියල නම් පෙනුන. Toyota වාහන වලට brand new කම්පැනි warranty දෙන්නෙ අවුරුදු 2ක් හෝ හැතැප්ම 25,000ක් විතරයි. ඒ ඒවගෙ නම, reliability එක නිසා අනවශ්‍ය විදිහට warranty දෙන්නෙ නෑ. Kia / Hyundai වලට අවුරුදු 10ක් warranty. ඇමරිකන් වාඅහන වලට අවුරුදු 3, 5 වගේ warranty තියෙනව. ඒ වගේ ම pre order කරල ගන්න පුලුවන් වෙන්නෙ ඇමරිකන්, යුරෝපියන් වාහන විතරයි. ජපන්, කොරියන් වාහන pre order කරන්න බැරි කමක් නෑ, නමුත් ගොඩක් වෙලාවට dealership එකේ තියෙන inventory එක move කරන එක තමයි කරන්නෙ. pre-order කලාට ඇමරිකන්/ යුරෝපියන් වාහන වගේ අපිට ඕනම එක ගොඩක් වෙලාවට ඒ විදිහටම ගන්න බැරි වෙන්න පුලුවන්. ඒ වගේ ම ඒ වාහන ගන්න මාස ගණන්බලන් ඉන්න ඕන නෑ.

You shouldn’t apply from multiple places for a vehicle, one dealership will send your information to multiple lenders, that will create multiple inquiries in your credit profile. That inquiry will stay in your record for 3 years.
