Fact: Abdel halim Hafez was the dream of every girl at his time. He was like the prince charming who every girl fell for and dreamed to marry 😅 unfortunately he suffered from sickness for years and died at the age of 48, that day all of Egypt was sad. Girls cried and cried and some even tried to kill themselves No JOKE! And even lots of pregnant women gave birth that day March 30, 1977 because of how much they cried over him 🥺😞 He was a legend indeed

And yes he is way different from um kolthom , she signed poems and some of her songs are considered difficult to hear , in words and the melody itself, bit halim came and his songs were a refreshment from um kolthom long songs, his songs were for the youth , but then all the people fell in love with it , he was quite the change in the musical world , um kolthome songs some of it we couldn't repeat while sitting or in a picnic or in a wedding , but halim songs came and it was easy, exciting like a light breeze, halim is LOVE 💙 in Egypt.

The music is by the most talented musician in the Arab world -perhaps in the whole world at that time Baligh Hamdy or Baleegh Hamdi , he was able to transfer the meaning of each word into a single note to show its dramatic effect all of this arranged in complete harmony ! like the word "tawh'ana " near the end it means " throw us away" even the hand gesture you made is right ,you felt its meaning ..Egyptian here and from the same governrate as AbdelHalim ,Sharqia ♥ I recommend listening to موعود Maw'ood ,it is an amazing ,progressive and dramatic work of art and the solist players by Omar Khorshid (guitar )and violin (elhefnawey )and others is legendary ,also arranged by Baligh
