The tholkapiyam is the oldest grammar book for tamil language. The author was unknown so we named him tholkapiyar and it's proved it was more than 3000 yrs old

Also no one is bragging here about the no. of letters. By your logic tamizh has to be written as த்அம்இழ் not தமிழ், it just depends on how you define letters.
