It's not the first time that Canada tries to divert attention from problems at home by pointing fingers at others.
In May, remains of 215 indigenous children were found at the site of a former residential school in British Columbia, some of them were as young as three years old. Since then, two more unmarked grave sites have been found, one holding 751 bodies and the other 182.
People are now asking how many more are out there? CGTN's Dong Xue digs up the history.

Native American people are still today being treated as 3rd class citizens in their own country, and the Whitehouse, and Canada rather not deal with their own deplorable human rights record. RIP

@@templarroystonofvasey All this needs proof. In Canada, the proof of the killing of thousands of those ancestral children comes out of their graves. In China, proof comes out of satellite photos which they can 100% "suspect" are the camps where the Uyghurs are tortured. No need real photos. Just with the satellite photos, they can guess it's 100% a camps where they tortured them. Americans got good eyes and good brains.

It's not the whole "europe is bad", some countries did horrible things, others suffered horrible things at the expense of these countries. There are many countries in europe hostages of the countries I've mentioned, Greece's economy was ruined by them for example.

Instead of fabricating fake reports against other countries, Michael Chong and other Canadian MPs should spend more time to pass motion to take more care of his country's genocide and massacres issues on residential schools resulting in thousands of native youngsters tortured to death during their time staying in schools. Also more muslim canadians have been attacked and killed but the punishments have been very lenient which imply that the Canadian Govt support apparently genocides on Muslim and minorities in an unlawful way in Canada!!!

That would be a very difficult to achieve expectation. Don't forget this fact. The western media is complicit in this whole gory affair. It has been in plain sight since the policy of Canadian native genocide was legislated into law. But the Canadian and western media either choose to accept it as legal, ignore it and or suppress it. If circumstances forced it into their news prints, it will be presented as unintended consequences or the classic western euphemism of collateral damage. As it is now being done.

In Canada, it is okay to have committed genocide as long as you have the truth and reconciliation body set up. China did not set up the truth and reconciliation Council because there is no genocide in Xingjiang, only the alleged genocide where no mass grave is found.

Jallianwala Bagh Massacre Amritsar Punjab British India The Jallianwala Bagh massacre took place on 13 April 1919 when troops of the British Indian Army under the command of Colonel Reginald Dyer fired rifles into a crowd of Baishakhi pilgrims, who had gathered in Jallianwala Bagh to celebrate Baisakhi Chronology of events In the year 1919, the British government passed the ‘Rowlatt Act’, which was basically passed to control the acts of the Indian revolutionaries. The act the government to arrest people without any trial, on terms of mere suspicion A public meeting was scheduled for April 13th in Jallianwala Bagh when the festival of Baisakhi was being celebrated and was met with no remorse from the British government. Around 6,000 to 10,000 people gathered at the venue to attend that meeting, which included ladies and even children. Since Jallianwala Bagh was an enclosed place surrounded by walls on every side with just one main gate and two-three tiny lanes for exit, General Dyer took the most voyeuristic advantage of the situation, closed the exit gates and ordered his riflemen to blatantly shoot at the gathering. The shooting continued for a while until the ammunition supply was exhausted, killing many innocent people. The colourful festival turned into a blood bath This massacre met with a lot of strong remorse from the entire nation and shaped the upcoming events of the history of India’s freedom struggle. Rabindranath Tagore renounced his knighthood in protest, and Gandhiji returned his ‘Kaisar-i-Hind’ medal A ‘Hunter community’ was formed to enquire about the incident under the leadership of Lord Hunter. However, due to no fruitful follow up, the Indian National Congress appointed its own trusted officials to enquire about the incident, which included Motilal Nehru and C.R Das. Eventually after much aggression from the Indians, the government had to suspend General Dyer, who quietly just returned to Britain. However, the cycle of karma came full circle for the ruling country after Sardar Udham Singh, who was a witness to the killings, shot Michael O’Dwyer in his own homeland of London, on March 30, 1940, as a revenge for the massacre. Michael O’Dwyer was said to be the planner and the silent supported of Dyer

No way the Canadian government can distance themselves from the massacre given the enormous lives and land areas involved, not just tens or a hundred lives, but thousands and maybe, millions. If the Canadian government can claim ignorant of the massacre, then they are not fit to be the government of the day. Thousands had been killed and they claimed they are unaware. How is that possible.

It may never be enough but in our world a government that condemn itself, apologize and recognize it's past actions is a pretty rare and almost unique event worthy of prasie at the very least, when in this very moment there are genocides happening all around the world like China and Musdle east, and past genocides that are being denied by the actual government like the armenian genocide.

There was a lot of damage done to native Americans. And they don’t exactly have an “Indian history month “ or day. They don’t even celebrate “thanksgiving “. At least from the ones I’ve met in my life time. Some even said that particular holiday feels like a slap in the face. But if China or any other country is currently committing similar atrocities, bringing up another countries history doesn’t make it right or excusable.

@@BlackJacx1 I see so once it is done, it's dusted in Canadian's case? Also I thought the west alway pride themselves with rules like "innocent until proven guilty" especially for serious accusation like genocide.
@BlackJacx1
@BlackJacx1 3 жыл бұрын
@@vilester Yes, innocent until proven guilty is a thing, the CCP is guilty of killing millions of Chinese nationals for various reasons, not just genocide. Genocide isn't just killing them all, it's sterilizing, scattering and displacing a group for the purpose of destroying their communities going forward(like it appears some did in Canada). The Uyghurs situation is active now, and it appears it could be classified as genocide, and the CCP completely denies and distracts from their own policy and actions, with no transparency for something that is a crime against humanity, and aren't even trying to strike some sort of moral equivalence, they just condemn Canada and everyone else for their past deeds, and whistle through the graveyard. Of course Canada, and MANY nations have done things that are _EVIL_ , but for the most part they are trying to be accountable, but most of the actual policies and people responsible are dead or gone, and most aren't _trying_ to cover up or ignore it. That is the difference between the CCP and most of the rest of the world, the CCP don't dare concede, because their own people must _BELIEVE_ that the government is true. ( Like the Tiananmen square massacre in 1989, where thousands of unarmed students were shot, killed and other things, and the CCP _ERASED_ it from history in China, but the rest of the world SAW WITH OUR OWN EYES, LIVE ON TV, what they did with the military to the people of China). It's a bit like a rapist accusing someone of leering at someone and touching their backside on the train last week, while he is in the act of raping someone under a blanket. It's called "Gaslighting", where you try to make the other person doubt their own perception and known facts about the situation, while the person gaslighting knowing the whole time it's mostly true but says it's not.

It is plain and straight forward genocide, much much more than just cultural genocide. The intent is no different from how Nazi Germany view the Jews. Those unfortunate Canadian aborigines who managed to slip out and away from the genocide planned for them are just lucky that times and circumstances were in their favour. If you consider when the last Indian Residential School was closed, in 1996, you will understand why.
