I think You know he hid some for when he got out he could buy whatever he wanted. It's all vaccuum sealed so it would last. Think about it. He stashes it in snow, even 1 bag of it would be impossible to find and he would know the location to find it after he got out.

It would take a salt granule the size of a boulder to stomach the fact that you're responsible for destroying countless lives. I bet his reasoning would be "if it wasn't me then it would just be someone else". I wonder if that would be enough to help you sleep at night? Of course i'm sure it all depends on the person. Speaking for myself I know I couldn't do it. At least not and live with myself. 45 million dollars is a lot of money yes, but my own peace of mind is priceless.

2.7 billion? How is 4300 kilos worth that much? Even if you assume all this cocaine is being sold for $100 a gram, that's still 430 million dollars. Lets even go as far to say it was 90% pure on the plane, and it's cut down to 30% before hitting the streets on every single gram and STILL every gram sold for $100, that's still only 1.29 billion total value if we're being extremely generous. The DEA's figures are messed up.
