I have 2 Aunts that were in Carlisle from ages 5--14. We are Blessed to have them still with us on Mother. My fam had 6 people die on Trail of Tears. This vid is hard to watch dry eyed. I’m a catholic, but this is a horrible thing the Catholic Church allowed!!! My thoughts about the indigenous peoples is they were true spiritual people who protected the land and all God’s creatures and only killed animals for a food , but they used all the parts of said animals. Then we ran them off of their lands and took over! The same happened in the USA and they are victimized even today! I know in Canada they don’t even care about the young people who are killed and not investigated. It’s so very sad 😢
