I love your channel man. I have subbed a while back but i dont think Ive commented . You inspire me a lot. I ought my first drive about 9 months ago and I am totally addicted. I have a Mavic 2 Pro ( first every drone ) its awesome. I am from Australia and I am about upload a compilation of 9 months worth of footage around melbourne australia on my channel. Much inspiration was from your channel so thanks very much. Hoping to get some awesome drone footage when I go to the Great Barrier Reef in may. Wish I could travel the world as much as you with it though :)

@@ManAndDrone haha I crashed mine recently. Wind and mountains tricked me a bit. And the RTH ETA was not accurate according to the wind pushing my drone and only allowing a max speed of 10kph. Luckily I bought DJI care refresh should get a new one soon
@ManAndDrone5 жыл бұрын
Damn.. Hope you get back in the air soon bro! Great shot on the Care Refresh Plan that helps a lot. Yes be careful in strong winds I've almost be caught out before years ago on the Oregon coastline nearly lost my Phantom 3 Pro.
@PatrickGuerrisi5 жыл бұрын
@@ManAndDrone Yeh my drone is light so wind cant affect it. But I have learned now that the ETA RTH is very very inaccurate in strong winds. It still said 4 mins to RTH so I was ok with going a bit further out and coming back after a few photos. But at 10kph max speed going against the wind it was definently not 4 mins

Okay, this is fucking incredible! But I have to ask, flying over those mountains, the wind must have been wild all the way up there, no? Did you have any issues with wind or fear of your drone flipping over or something? Again, amazing video!
@ManAndDrone5 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate - Well actually I had to wait for a clear window of weather checking wind speeds in the area on 'The weather network'. South Kananaskis is deadly... it can be very windy as its near the continental divide but thankfully it was manageable on that day. There's always that risk though of a freak wind barrelling over.

maybe no national parks were included in THIS clip of yours, but The Three sisters shown in the beginning is within the 1 mile no fly zone of the Canmore Heliport... I can appreciate the epic beauty, but don't try to pass it off as all well and legal (unless you had a standing SFOC at the time and just haven't mentioned it) . Others might take your word without doing their research and end up with penalties and fines.
