Canada was so much fun! We were in the Vancouver BC area for 4 days and had a wonderful time, I can't wait to go back and explore more of this beautiful country.

I want to go to Canada. I haven’t been since 1986 and I need a passport. It was so bizarrely awesome and random running into you at a rest stop. That was amazing.😁 That was a nice hotel room! Yay for adventures!

Since you live close enough to drive all you really need is the passport card (which is what I have), it's much cheaper ($30 for adult and it's good for 10 years) than the actual passport. If you don't plan on flying out of country then the passport card is the way to go (It's good by car or boat). It was so awesome running into you, Matt, and Monkey, we couldn't have planned that stop any better!!

I went to Canada a few times and loved it so much. That was before 9-11 when you didn't need a passport. Since they changed it, I need to go get one so I can go back again. Thanks for sharing your road trip, It was great to see it again on video!

I use to go to Canada often in the '90's. I had a couple friends that lived in the Vancouver BC area, I would take the train from Portland OR to Seattle WA and they would drive down from Canada to Seattle to come get me and we would hang out and sight see, etc... I loved it because I was only 19 and the drinking age in BC was 19 so I was able to get in the bars and see live music and have my first beer before I could here in the USA.

When I drove long haul I met 2 guys while in line at Tim Horton's in Delta that had attended university in Arkansas. I was shocked, and we did the Hog Call there.

Once again I say it is too bad that I didn’t know that you were so close yet so far away. I do drive so I could have spent some time with you while Pete was working. Make it like a little meet and greet like I did a few years back with Troy and Angie when she was still living here in Maple Ridge. Can’t wait to see what you did on day two. You did say that you were t to Crescent Beach and not Wreck Beach right? 😊 FYI Wreck Beach is a with or without clothes beach 😂

Yeah, I had no idea you were that close. Next time for sure, I would love to meet you and hang out. Yes, it was Crescent Beach in Surrey. Oh my, glad it wasn't the other one, LOL.
