4:29:47 Wow that lady is beyond rude. Let the man finish his thoughts. Just because your team won doesn´t mean the other team didn´t win in the rest of the country, lady. Lack of manners is an understatement. Shame on her.

What Peter Mansbridge noted about Chretien serving from a riding in Atlantic Canada is true - it was in 1992 that the incumbent MP from Beausejour-Petitcodiac, in New Brunswick stepped down, enabling Chretien to run for the seat, and win it. I find that part of his history to be rather interesting.

Mulroney did the exact same thing in 1983 in Central Nova. The incumbent MP, Elmer MacKay (Peter MacKay’s father), stepped down allowing Mulroney to be elected to the House in a by-election. At the 1984 election Mulroney transferred to a Québec riding (like Chrétien) and the MP who steeped down was elected back (also like Chrétien).

In 1993 the progressives Conservatives party collapsed and it never returned to power and Kim Campbell was the first female prime minister of canada after Brian Mulroney resignation and she only served in office for 5 months until she lose everything such as a prime minister and member of parliament and so she forced to resign as leader of party and quit politics immediately and the seats went down towards 2 from 156
