Mike Ross doesn't owe us a damn thing. He gave us years of free laughs and entertainment. I wish people would stop pressuring him to come back and "save the fgc". That said, it is good to see him here doing better and if he does decide to start creating content again you can bet I'll be watching. Ultimately though, I hope he just does what's best for him mentally.

God bless you Mike Ross.

I think it's important to feedback to lapchi that this interview looks like you didn't check-in with Mike Ross first about asking some very personal questions before coming on stream. It is clearly a vulnerable topic and he should be able to know ahead of time if he is expected to discuss it. He also clearly indicated that the idea of being needed by the fgc messed with his head. He doesn't need a bring back Mike Ross campaign or any grandiose pressure to commit to coming back as a public figure for the fgc. Overall, I think it's important to let people share their own stories on their own terms, not pop it on them when a camera is already rolling

Mike, we chatted just before this that people are wondering about where you've been, sounds like you're down to give us a window in, how about we get into it?" I wasn't there so they might have checked in but Mike was so hesitant during the interview. I don't think it's babying to respect that someone might want to hop on the mic but not talk about the shittiest 2 years of their life. That's treating someone like an adult who goes through adult problems . Imo saying the fgc needs you, you have to come back, you never answered my calls, is far more babying. The thing is that both ones forced themselves into a Sf exclusive format. In fact diverging from the general content creation tendency in the fgc - that was already in course even by those first Sf5 years but now It's growing in a incredible pace. No much drama and mental issues could have been avoided If they simply decided to change games, slowly at first but then change more and more so Sf5 is unofficially dropped and buried.

I mean sure we all know companies care only about numbers and money and all that crap but we also gotta point it out that at times they try to do what people (fans) ask for even if this wont give them enough money to justify the expenses. Although in the long run they needed the marketing and Mike was a guy who could do just that super well and efficiently, regardless of everything I still think he should've of just take the money and do it because is not about selling his soul out or anything is about living and doing something you love doing and we all know he enjoy himself with that show it was HIS show and it was great.... a real letdown he turn them down even tho he had all rights to do so I still feel it was a HUGE mistake from his part. Lastly I would really like he would see this msg but I know he wont, even tho if any1 who knows him and can reach to him and let him know that all the companies care about money at the end of the day (even arcsys who are an awesome group of people) that doesn't mean you will throw your integrity out of the window if you work for any of these companies, it is a job and if they are willing to pay up crazy X amount of money for your talent it is because you ARE WORTH that crazy amount of money man!

There's a huge difference between we NEED Mike Ross back and we WANT Mike Ross back.......I think the most of us would say we WANT him back.

We need Mike Ross to save the FGC but we don't want him because he's too good for us and owes us nothing. What a predicament

Skip Fuego when I think E. Honda I think Mike Ross. Only Honda I remember seeing in tournaments. You’re talking about online, I’m talking about tournaments. Apples and oranges and opinions.

Mike really took a 180 and is so negative toward himself. I hope you find the help you need and are able to move forward and see things in a brighter light.

I always saw the potential in Mike Ross's Honda. He was doing things with that character in Ultra Street Fighter 4 that no one else was doing. I believe he made it into the top 8 a few times but at that level those guys just counter picked him. I think we all felt like he was being held back by Ultra Street Fighters flawed matchups.

Mike, you are in a position to apply with your own specific point to a contract! we miss your energy mike! I dream of a less scripted sfv, more expressive just like you Mike, but your voice have more power than us!

Mike Ross represents a pure FGC not a shilling money grab. He had to leave to not be a part of anything but quality. He doesn't believe in an industry not giving their best

The worst part is that if companies put more effort in, they'd probably make more money if done properly.

This is ridiculous. STOP BEGGING ROSS to come back to the FGC. It's not up to Mike Ross to "save" the fgc, that's the responsibility of the fgc itself. Its outright outrageous and show's how desperate you are. Let that man direct his life the way HE chooses to. He's not YOUR permanent amusement joystick. Foh.
