Few corrections or additions to the points mentioned in the video. I'm in Halifax currently and it's been 4 months I'm here 1) The temparature is not extreme as mentioned. Infact Halifax has one of the mildest winters in Canada as per what i have heard. It snowed just 3-4 times this winter and the temparature has never dropped below -10 unless there's any special weather statement. It gets very windy at times and that makes us feel like it's colder than what it normally is. But so far the temparature is not really bad 2) Rental situation is real bad. Those who are coming in need to be extremely mindful of that. It's a small city which doesn't have the capability to accommodate lot of people coming in. And because of that, the rental rates are going up each day 3) Regarding transportation, there's no metro. But bus service is really good and well connect 4) Nova Scotia has the highest tax in entire Canada. So whatever you earn, a lot will go as tax. And in addition we have to pay taxes on any item we purchase 3) Apart from some scenic beauty, there's nothing here. It's like a heritage place. Not a hi tech city. If you are just looking for a peaceful and calm life, then only you will like it here. 4) It's difficult to find any good Indian restaurants. There are just a handful of Indian restaurants unlike Toronto and the ones that are there are real bad. I haven't found a restaurant till date where i feel like going again. Apart from fairly good weather, there's nothing favourable here is what I felt
