Only if the Travel Plan is outside of the country you shall mention it. This helps with expedite Passport service.

Congratulations. I have 2 questions. 1)Is it necessary to have the printed form in hand during the ceremony because i am planning to submit an electronic signed document. 2)Did you return the whole 10 pages form or just the last signed page to them?

Hello Valeria :) I do understand your concern and what’s best in my knowledge is that - the IRCC is still sending invites for Virtual Oath Ceremony even after the Pandemic. Hopefully you’ll get a Virtual Invite as well 🤞🏼 Good Luck! Hope that helps :)

Thank you :) Yes, you are required to send your signed Oath form via email after the ceremony. Email it back to the same email address to IRCC unless stated otherwise. The email address is also present right on the Oath Form under "return to" section on the left side. Email Subject: OATH FORM - ,

Hello! Just let the agent know regarding your travel plans during registration. E-Certificate selection shall be made during your citizenship application, if you don’t recall just wait until the ceremony ends.

After the ceremony, I sent them my signed oath form as a pdf with the form oath form for [seatno], date, ceremony no. The e-mail address I sent was written on the oath form.But I saw that the pdf file size I sent was 2.5 MB. In the forum it was written that the maximum is 1MB. Do you think I should send it again? Have I done it right so far?

Congratulations! I’m sure this must have been a journey thus far. You’ve done right by sending it over to the email address written on the form. During my ceremony there wasn’t a mention about the size of the pdf file, unfortunately I won’t be able to help on this. I’d just recommend to resend as a compressed file, there is no harm in sending again :) Goodluck!

Hello! Thank you 😊 Well I opted to get a soft copy of my Certificate, it took about 3 business days and it was available for download under my account. On the other hand, if you opt for a hard copy sent via mail to your address, then it usually takes about 2 weeks.

Congratulations!!! ♥ Just a question please, did they ask for a copy of your COPR? Or just the PR card is enough? I've seen posts from previous year/s that some were asked (but some were not). I only have a scanned copy onhand not the original, I flipped the whole house and weren't able to find it. I can't remember if the officer took it and just gave us the photocopy? Trying to remember, all three of us only have the copies. I've seen some posts that I can ask for Verification of Status (VOS) but it can take up to 6 months of wait. My oath taking is on August 22, virtual as well that's why I am kinda nervous if it is required. :( Thank you in advance and congratulations again! ♥

Thank you very much! ❤️🙏 Well in my case the officer just asked for my PR card. Also, my PR card was still in valid status. I’d suggest you to check the email with OATH ceremony details if the documents list contains anything related to COPR, most likely a PR Card and a Drivers License should be enough. Thanks and Congratulations to you as well! Well 49 should be okay, unless mentioned otherwise in your email. The call lasts for about 1.5 to 2 hrs sometimes even longer. You just need to create your account on Zoom. I used the Free version and it worked for me with no interruptions :) Good luck!

Well it is completely optional, please don’t over burden for the decor. The easiest thing would be to play a Canadian flag video with no ads on KZbin (on TV / any screen) in background. Doesn’t need any prep at all. But again, everything is optional so just enjoy your ceremony! Congratulations!! 🎉

Hi! You'd have to print and sign the Oath Form (handwritten). I'd suggest you keep the copy in hand and send it right after your Oath ceremony :) Apart from that you need the physical copy of your PR card as well as one other ID (Drivers License/ Health Card). Good Luck!
